I’m 16 and live in Copenhagen. Film and media have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I keep finding new things I want to try. I work on my own stories and help bring other people’s footage together.

MY JOURNEY

01 / AGE 10
THE BEGINNING.
It started with YouTube. At ten, I discovered that I could make projects of my own. I spent a lot of time editing, trying things out and figuring out what you could actually do with images and sound.

02 / FREELANCE
CLIENT WORK.
Eventually, I started editing for other people too. I worked with different people, different ideas and videos made for specific audiences. Finding my place in a relatively new industry at such a young age was one of the best things that happened to me. It gave me lasting relationships and plenty of experience.

03 / BOARDING SCHOOL
BAARING.
At Baaring music boarding school, music became a bigger part of my everyday life. That’s where I made Mellem Akkorder og Aftener — a film I still find hard to put into words. I spent six months collecting footage and another three to four months putting it together. It’s my biggest project so far: my way of keeping the experiences that memory can’t always hold on to.

NEXT COPENHAGEN.
Today, I study at NEXT in Copenhagen, working towards becoming a film and TV production technician. Alongside school, I make my own projects and edit for others. There’s a lot I want to do. Right now, I’m learning to bring my ideas to life — and generally just learning new things.
SIDE B
MUSIC.
Music has become a place where I can explore a mood without having to find images for it first. I make my own things and experiment with production and sound. Some of it becomes music. Some might find its way into my small projects.
